
COMMERCIAL & PRICING COORDINATOR – JD
As our business expands, we are looking for a skilled Commercial and Pricing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in the company’s success involving competitive pricing that is the result of good negotiation skills, developing strong relationships with our vendors and knowing and understanding the business and market competition.
Key Responsibilities:

- Pricing & Rate Tariffs: Develop and implement pricing tariff aligned with company goals and market trends. Manage pricing database.
- Rate Negotiation: Negotiate competitive rates with carriers, suppliers, and vendors while ensuring service quality and profitability.
- Quotation Management: Prepare and analyse Air and Road quotations with accuracy and compliance with customer requests, company profit margins and key accounts
- Contract Management: Manage contracts with customers, carriers, and suppliers, forecasting revenue and market share based on trends and costs.
- Market Analysis: Understanding of the airfreight, charter market a benefit and understand
- Customer & Vendor Relationship: Build strong relationships with customers offering competitive pricing and value-added services and developing relationships with vendors.
- Internal Coordination: Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with customer needs.
- Competitor Analysis and market pricing
- Performance Monitoring: cost control by financial job closing of shipments to ensure average profit margins for routes
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of pricing agreements and generate reports for management review. Ensure accurate communication of customer information to internal teams.
- Process Improvement: Work smart, identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to streamline pricing processes and save costs
- Other ad hoc tasks as required by Management.
- Flexibility required as working with logistics of live animals.
- Ability to work under pressure in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience:

- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting or finance
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in pricing in a sales or commercial role in freight forwarding or logistics.
- Proficient in the MS Office suite, with advanced skills in Excel, including formulas, macros, vlookup and xlookup functions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail with numbers and services required.
- Excellent problem solving & solution driven skills.
- Fluency in English required and Arabic proficiency advantage.
- Commercially adept with a proactive mindset.
