Endurance

Since the sport of endurance racing captured the hearts and minds of the Middle East, Equitrans has been an integral partner in some of the world’s largest endurance horse movements.

Thanks to HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s passion for and investment in the sport, today 60 percent of the UAE’s horses participate in this discipline.

Owners and trainers across the region understand that for horses to arrive competition ready and in peak condition, Equitrans remains the transporter of choice. As such, we continue to handle movements of premium horses for the biggest regional and global events, including World Championships, Junior Endurance Championships and events around Europe and the Middle East.

From the beginning, our founding partner David Robson has been involved in endurance, having coordinated the shipping of horses for the first World endurance championship in 1998, held in Ghantoot in the UAE.

Over the years, Equitrans has been actively involved in the movement of horses for large endurance events from the Great Windsor Park ride, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Ride, in Saudi Arabia, The Junior Endurance Championship’s in Abu Dhabi and many more.
