Equitrans is incredibly proud to announce that we are the 2023 transport partner for Al Shira’aa Show.

The Al Shiraaa Show is now in its sixth-year and attracts some of the biggest international names in showjumping. To date, the Equitrans team has shipped 36 of the world’s top showjumpers from six countries to Al Forsan Resort in Abu Dhabi.

The Al Shira’aa Horse Show is held under the vision, patronage and guidance of HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Honorary President and showcases many of the best horses and riders from all over the globe.

The Al Shira’aa Horse Show boasts over €350,000 in prize money and is home to FEI approved CSI4*-W, CSI2* & CSIYH* classes.

Many of the Equitrans transported horses have already proved they arrived in top condition and performance ready with impressive wins across the show’s biggest classes.

The action kicked off on Thursday 12th Jan with the FBMA Gold Tour CSI 4*-W. First place went to Duarte Seabra on Fernhill Check Your Pocket, Kristaps Neretnieks on Kamiro D in second place and Celine Schoonbroodt- De Azevedo riding Deesse Des Embrums in third.

Also on Thursday was the CSI4* W (145cm) Abu Dhabi Sports Council Diamond Tour Grand Prix Qualifier won by Emanuele Gaudiano riding Nickolaj De Music. Mohammed Shafi Mohammed Alremeithi riding Caramba came in second with Shane Breen riding Z7 Ipswich in third.

Friday’s Mother of the Nation Diamond Tour CSI4* W was won by Jessica Burke on Inpulss, Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida in second place and Mariana Frauches Chaves in third. The second 4* of the day went to Emanuele Gaudiano riding Chalou, Duarte Seabra in second and Gerfried Puck in third place.

The Sheikh Zayed Al Nayhan Gold Tour CSI-4* went to Belgium’s Abdel Said riding Arpege Du Ru, with Ireland’s Jessica Burke in second and Celine Schoonbroodt- De Azevedo in third.

Sunday’s highlight was the CSI4* Al Shiraa Longines Diamond Tour FEI Jumping Cup Grand Prix an Olympic qualifier won by the UK’s Joe Whittaker on Hulahupe JR, with Billy Twomey on Chat Botte E.D and Duarte Seabra on Dourados.

The Al Shiraaa Show marks the start of the 2023 UAE jumping tour, with many more weeks of jumping to come. Next weekend sees the UAE President International Showjumping Cup, followed by the FBMA International Showjumping Cup both held at Al Forsan Resort, before the action moves to Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club.
